TOM GILBERT B.Sc. (Physiotherapy) APAM
Tom is able to treat a range of musculoskeletal issues, with a particular interest in the sporting shoulder and lower limb injuries.
He graduated from Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has been working in the private practice sector ever since.
Tom has an extensive background in sport, competing at a representative level in both Water Polo and Swimming. He also is currently the Physiotherapist for the Youth Australian Men’s Water Polo team and travels to Europe each year for the Junior World Championships. This has given him the knowledge to treat and manage elite athletes.
Tom is the Physiotherapist for the St Ives Rugby Seniors and also runs the Youth Strengthening classes in The Studio for St Ives Physiotherapy.
Tom is also currently working in a nursing home which gives him an understanding of the elderly population and is able to create appropriate balance and strength programs as well as treat any aches or injuries.
