DAVID MCWILLIAMS B.Health Sc., Doctor of Physiotherapy, APAM

Since graduating from Macquarie University, David has developed a passion for treating sport and exercise related injuries, and promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for people of all ages. He has a particular interest in treating:
  • Tennis/overhead throwing related injuries
  • Running overuse injuries
  • Football related injuries

David cares deeply about addressing the root cause of the problem, rather than only treating the symptoms. He also aims to find strategies to return patients to their desired activity stronger, more confident, and full of knowledge and resilience.

Prior to working as a physio, David worked as a high level tennis coach in Australia and the United States. He also has first aid experience working at the Ultimate Frisbee Nationals and the Indoor Netball Nationals.

Team/sports coverage appointments:
  • Northern Tigers Football Club Women’s 1st Grade: Head Physiotherapist
  • Northern Saints Rugby Club: Head Physiotherapist

Memberships: Australian Physiotherapy Association, Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy Australia, Sports Medicine Australia
